"Kristen and Oscar helped transform and modernize our recently purchased and outdated home. Moving into our house felt extremely overwhelming since every room needed some TLC. Both Kristen and Oscar took their time to survey the property and provided us with great options on furniture and room planning. After I sent Kristen some design inspiration, she presented us with spot-on design choices for our project. She provided us with 3D renderings on 3 of our focused rooms (bar, kitchen, living room). She also completed beautiful stylings for our dining room, 2 half baths, primary bedroom, and two sitting rooms. We were uncertain how the updates would come out since we kept the original flooring (red oak). The final look has exceeded our expectations! My husband and I most appreciate; however, how wonderful Oscar and Kristen are to work with. They are consistently professional with both their clients and their design contacts and it is immediately clear how well regarded they are by others in the industry. At a time when it is difficult to do renovations, it is so much easier with them on your side. No renovation can be easy when it is done on a large scale with discerning clients, but Kristen and Oscar make it as seamless as possible and give you a very clear picture from the beginning of what you will be getting as a finished product. That remains true whether you use your own contractor or the contacts they provide. They are clearly able to work with anyone and we so appreciate that! Kristen and Oscar truly care about what you need and went above and beyond to make sure our vision was brought to life. "I started with the Benavides design team in September 2022. We spent the first year together designing a complete renovation of my lake home. The design team came up with three variations and I ultimately choose one. Despite the fact that I had lived in the home for more than 10 years and had strong opinions on what needed to be changed, the design team came up with ideas of which I had never thought. Once a final design was in place, I went with the design team to choose all materials -- kitchen appliances, hardwood floors, chandeliers, bathroom fixtures, etc. That way, when general contractors (GC) gave me estimates for the projects, allowances were not permitted in the bid. The design team also helped me choose the GC for the job, which took six months. Taking my budget into account, the design team also helped me choose furniture for my new rooms. It is the two year mark, and I'm now living in my dream home. Oscar and Kristen and their team are experts in their field and an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them."
